Clearances for Volunteers
ALL adults who work work with children in any way in our school, Prep, CYO or Parish must have an up to date police check, child abuse clearance plus MUST attend a Protecting God's Children Class.
This is a mandate from the Archdiocese to protect our children. All volunteers must be in compliance.
Entering the Building- NO ONE may enter the building and go to to a classroom. All visitors no matter what time of day it is must report to the office. If you are remaining in the building then you must wear a name tag. If it is to bring a child who is late or returning from an appointment both you and the child must come to the office. The child will receive a late slip, if necessary, and someone will make sure that the child gets to class.
Should an emergency arise and you need to see a teacher the office personnel will get the teacher for you. Otherwise, an appointment is required to conference with a teacher.
All late lunches are to be brought to the office. Please mark child’s name and grade on the lunch.
Fundraising projects
This fundraiser for our school has been one of the easiest and most successful.
Thank you for all of your support in the effort. We are the top school in amount of paper collected. We won the summer contest of collecting over 25 tons of paper. Our school was awarded a $1000 which was used for our technology and Math programs. Please continue to fill our bins. There is a new contest from now until Spring. This time we have to collect over 37 tons of paper. I know that with your help we will succeed.
Can you help us?
We are in dire need of scrap paper. If your company is changing names, closing or just changing logos could you please collect the old stationery for us. If you work for Wachovia please put a word in for their stationery since they will be changing to wells Fargo soon. Any way that you can help will be greatly appreciated. The rising cost of paper has put a big dent in our budget. Thank You.
