During the night or early morning snow - the school closing will be announced that morning on KYW News Radio 1060, channels KYW, (3) WCAU, (10) and Fox (29). These channel numbers may vary depending on your cable company. Our school closing number is 485.
Please do not call the rectory, they will not be able to answer your questions. We have an emergency chain call list for this purpose.

If St. Madeline - St. Rose School closes or goes with a 1 hour or 2 hour delay this will be announced as follows:

E.G. SCHOOL CLOSING #485 HAS A 1 HOUR OR 2 HOUR DELAY.

All School districts will abide by this decision and will transport bus riders either 1 hour or 2 hours later then their scheduled time. Car riders and walkers are asked to abide by this announced time. School doors will not be opened until the announced time.

If other districts have a delay with their bus run or have no school, Interboro #450, Chester Upland #451 and Ridley #453, and you have not heard St. Madeline - St. Rose School code #485 announced, that means St. Madeline - St. Rose has school and it is the parent's responsibility to bring their children to school according to their delayed schedule. These children will not be marked late if they arrive on the bus. If the parent or guardian choose not to transport them and St. Madeline - St. Rose School is in session they will be marked absent.
Early dismissal due to inclement weather will be announced on KYW News Radio 1060 and the above mentioned stations that #485 will be dismissed at a certain time. The chain call will begin. Volunteer parents will begin to contact families.

When St. Madeline - St. Rose School closes for emergencies or bad weather there will be NO classes or C.A.R.E.S.

IMPORTANT
When there is a Two hour delay - Pre-K will have a Two hour delay.
(Ex: Pre-K starts at 8:00am Two hour delay will be a 10:00am start)

Pre-K follows the same schedule as the other classes.
